Right this was a quickly conceived idea that had to be jotted down quickly, as I was rather drunk at the time when I had it.

Basically this an original character of mine that would be in the Naruto universe, called Ryuu (i'll explain why I chose that name later).

In terms of the story he would fit, it would work in 2 ways;

1) This character and the story I came up with would take place at some point during the Naruto: Shippuuden time phrase as a non-cannon film/special manga volume like all the Naruto films (i'm sorry if they're considered cannon officialy, but I always think of em as non-cannon).

2) His story would happen ages after Naruto: Shippuuden, like a hundred to a thousand years after.

Character background is as follows.

Name: Ryuu
Age: 17/18

Ryuu is a traveller who has never none a place to call home, he suffers from amnesia, and so can't remember his past. Whilst looking like a 17/18 year old boy he is actually a mythical chakra beast (the nine tails), my idea is that is effectively the Ten-Tails (don't flame me for this okay!). The appearance of the ten-tail is a wolf with ten tails, kinda like the pokemon 'Nine-tails' but with a tenth tail in appearance.

The Ten-Tails or Juubi no Kouken (Ten Tailed Guardian Beast) is the Guardian (I feel like I want to say deity here) of the other tailed beasts, but unliked the other 9, it doesn't stay in the physical realm all the time, it only appears once every hundred or thousand years (havn't decided which). When the Juubi appears it has to travel to a temple in the Country of Light (cheesy I know) where it is freed of its physical form and goes back beyond the physical world. This ceromony is done in order to keep the other tailed beasts at bay/peace or to keep some demon/monster from entering the world, probably the latter.

In the case of Idea number 1 the story would work like this:

The Juubi has come into the world as part of its cycle but someone has tampered with this process so that the demon can be freed, and the Juubi has been changed into a human form with all its prior knowledge /memories wiped. Konoha is contacted and Team 7 is dispatched to find the boy and escort him to the temple in the Country of Light, whilst the boy discovers who he truly is all the while with naruto and the gang helping him become more human.

In the case of idea number 2, the story would be more or less the same as number 1 but with the entire cast made of up from original characters, with it in the future where Naruto has defeated Akatsuki and freed the tailed beasts in the process, meaning that the Juubi's sacrifice would be to keep the Tailed beasts at bay/peace rather than prevent a demon from entering the world.

Only had one idea for a unique technique for him atm. It's called Joukai Kyouran (Heavens Fury), and it would look like a mix between Ryu's Hadouken and Goku's Kamehameha, so it would be a form manipulation technique like Rasengan.

That's about it for info on this drunken idea of mine, had a hell of a time this morning trying to read what i'd written lol.
I'd found the idea of a Tenth tailed beast a few times in fanfics but didn't like how it had been used for some reason, so guess that's why I came up with this.

All of the above would be all considered non-cannon, obviously.
